Leader: Sizwe Ngcobo

Youth ministry is about community, regular opportunities for every young person to respond to their needs through a series of activities and help them to come to know God and what it means and is expected of the child of God. At St. Faith’s Anglican Church we have an enthusiastic team of youth leaders who are all passionate about encouraging their peers to grow in their understanding of Jesus and how He can impact their lives for eternity.

The youth ministry at St. Faith’s is divided into two; Junior Youth and Senior Youth. Our main focus is on building a relationship with one another. Most teenagers initially attend youth group because their peers are part of it, unless a parent encourages them to go. The purpose is to incorporate activities to build them into a community of what God wants us to be - believers, not just friends. As young people we need to realize that we are a part of something bigger than ourselves. Our relationship with St. Faith’s congregation incorporates us into the total church body while we are still young. We are the church of today … not just the church of tomorrow.
